Below is a Process Flow Diagram and a narrative describing the Nitrex system which can be cut and pasted into whatever documents you are submitting. Please let me know if you need this in a different format or if you need any additional information. Nitrex Treatment System NitrexTm Nitrex Building Septic Recirculating Denite Leaching Sewer Tanks Media Filter Filter Pools Building wastewater discharges to septic tanks in which solids settle and clarified effluent flows to the Nitrex System for treatment prior to discharge to leaching pools. The Nitrex System consists of Recirculating Media Filters (RMF) and Nitrex Denitrification Filters. The RMF utilizes a foam material onto which wastewater is sprayed and nitrogen removing bacteria convert ammonia to nitrates with partial nitrate removal. Wastewater is recirculated between 3 and 5 times(operator adjusted) prior to being discharged through the wood based media within the Nitrex Filters, which provides the needed carbon for denitrifying bacteria to remove nitrates prior to final discharge. The system achieves an overall nitrogen removal of 94+/-/a with an typical effluent Total Nitrogen of 3+/-mg/L. The properties, SCTM NOS. 1000-122.00-06.00-022.001 and 028.00 are contiguous. See, Tax Map Section 122 attached. 2. See, updated Site Plan attached. 3. See, updated Site Plan and Room Charts. 4. All noise levels will be in compliance with local laws. Most activities will be inside, other than activities in the pool area, which location has been designed to minimize noise levels. 5. In compliance with STC Section 280-35 see, Plans, Charts and Amended Long Environmental Assessment Form (LEAF). 6. Respectfully disagree with the interpretation of the Town Code. The site plan has been reconfigured consisting of three separate buildings: Building A containing a single story catering hall, retail area, and restaurant; Building B contains 78 guest rooms, and 39 suites, with parking spaces under the building; and Building C containing 8 Junior Suites. 7. The lobby area has been reduced to 2,500 sq, ft. See, new Plans attached. 8. See, updated plans, Amended LEAF, and Site Plan reducing the number of rooms to the 125 rooms permitted by the code with the merger of the contiguous properties as stated above. 9. All requested information is set forth in the submission attached. 10. The new Site Plan contains parking calculations with the plan meeting all parking requirements of the Southold Town Code. 11. Hobson Drive is a private Right of Way set forth in the deed. The applicant has no knowledge of any restrictions, except as may be set forth in the deed. 12. See, Radius maps previously submitted, and the updated Site Plan attached. 13. See, updated Site Plan reflecting drainage plan and surface water drainage calculations. 14. The new design adds more green areas, more open vista from the Main Road, solar panels located on Building B. 15. See, revised Nitrex Plans. 16. See, revised Nitrex Plans. 17.
