I was admitted to building by Mrs. Madsen who accompanied me during this inspection. The building, a wood framed structure, is constructed on a brick masonry foundation. The first floor consists of a kitchen, utility room, half bathroom, dining room, living room, entrance hall, and a bedroom. Second floor has seven bedrooms and a full bathroom. Our family has had many beautiful memories there. Unfortunately,we lost my husband Gus Monioudis on August 30,2019. We had just come to Southold for the Labor Day Weekend, and he had a massive heart attack in our home and despite everyone's best efforts could not be saved.After that, I remainthe sole owner of the home. For my children and I it has been very difficult for us to enjoy the home as we previously did. It is bittersweet. Although we have many beautiful memories,we also have a lot of pain as my husband took his last breath in that house and my young children are scared by the violent images of is heart attack,our attempted CPR, police,and ambulance trying desperatelyto help him. These painful memories have made it difficult for us. We do have a very large family on both sides,and they have been extremely supportive. Our family enjoys going out tq,Long Island still and we have been happy to accommodate them. However,it has come to a point where I find that to maintain the expenses of the home, I need to rent it out full time in the Fall. That is why I am seeking a Rental Permit. My architect&friend Amalia Bournias has graciously offered to represent me through all aspects ofthe home. I would like to be there myself for the rental inspection though and kindly requestthat it can be done in September as I will be away in Europe until late August.Acopy of my ticket is attached. I hope thatyou can please accommodate me so that I can be there for the inspection to answer any questions, as I know my house the best and if anything needs correction, I understand what is needed.
