APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCYi
This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
i. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
'~'pre-existing" land uses:
i. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
~. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant~
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the

Dear Mr. Fiore,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
d~ring its regular meeting held on May 2&, 1994 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, JOHN J. FIORE applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of
the Town of Southold, revised survey as dated May 26, 1994, and,
WHEREAS, said application' was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on May 26, 1994 at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
JOHN J. FIORE to construct a 16' X 32' swiraming pool
inground surrounded by wood decking and chain link fence and
to regrade seed and landscape around pool area. Located 5050
Sunset Way, corner of Cedar Beach Road, Southold. SCTM ~91-1-5
Permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees
must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six
months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are
required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of
said project.

Regulations (6~[YCR.R Part 651) no per~uit is reqq2ired under the Tidal
Wetlands Act . Please be advised, however, that Mo constr~ction~
sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind zay take place seaward of
the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above,
without a permit. It is your ~ ' '
responsibility to ensure that all
necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or
o~her alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegeuation
within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction which may resul~ from your
project. Such precautions may include maintainin9 adequate work
area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and your
project (i.e. a I8' to 20' wide construction area) or erectin~ a
temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
