As far as the pavilion goes, I need you to send in a building permit application for it(detached accessory structures all require their own applications). Regarding the barn to pool house conversion,this set of plans still have the same issues we discussed back in September -the floor area containing the bathroom and storage area under the reverse gable needs to be legalized. -the roof line and walls of the "pool equipment shed" need to be legalized. -if the bathroom is there,we need SCHD approval for it. -the sitting area and storage area need to be completely inaccessible from the main barn area.. if they are accessible, then the floor area gets added into the area of the pool house structure.The floor area of the bath and that storage room DO get added into the pool house square footage. The size of this is double what is allowed by code. -a pool house can not have laundry or a fireplace—both need to be removed. Do you want me to issue a notice of disapproval and you can proceed with a variance for the pool house as designed? Even after additions to the barn have been legalized and you have SCHD approval, I still wouldn't be able to issue a building permit for a pool house based on the square footage. Let me know how you would like to proceed.. and just email over the pavilion application when you have a chance.
