APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
A. This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2.Final Approval from H~hlth Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3.Approval of electrica~ installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
Sworn statement from fplumber certifying that the solder used in system contairs
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations,~a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
~. For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and

1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
' unusual natural or topographic features.

For indoor installations, it Is highly recommended that both
the pool and Wafer Quality System be located near a floor
drain, or a sump pump be installed: necessary precautions
for a 2500-gallon body of water. In addition, the ama
surrounding the pool should be protected and appropriate'
floor and wall covering materials installed. Contact EPI for
details.

LOCATION OF POOL EQUIPMENT
The ancillary equipment for the Endless Pool includes the
Water Qualily System that filters, heats and sanitizes the
water (fig. 3), and the Hydraulic Power Unit (fig. 4).Since' "~.~

finalizing lhe location of lhe poet equipment. Aa a general
rule, the Power Unit and Water Quality System should be
installed in a sheltered location. The Water Quality System
als0 needs protection from freezing· To insure that the
Water Quality System operates correctly, it should be
instalJed in a location not more than 5 feet below nor 1 foot
