MULSEAL effectively seals pores in masonry and concrete walls against moisture and moisture vapor. Specification: The cured asphalt film of MULSEAL complies with ASTM specification D449-89 Type I, meeting requirements of FHA code section 712-1. MULSEAL meets or exceeds local building codes. A complete list of specifications is provided in Spec-Data Application MULSEAL is fast setting. This unique property protects MULSEAL and from being washed off due to sudden showers. Dry time is one hour with Coverage: average weather. MULSEAL can be applied to green concrete. Better adhesion is obtained when using MULSEAL because the product has been designed for application to green concrete. Cut-back (solvent based) asphalt has poor adhesion and has a tendency to blister or flake off green concrete. MULSEAL on green concrete offers a plus value by acting as a curing agent thereby increasing strength of concrete. MULSEAL can be applied to surfaces at temperatures below freezing (down to IOOF). Upon thawing it will retain its original properties, provided MULSEAL is kept at a temperature above 50OF while applying. MULSEAL is applied uniformly by spray. Apply the material at a rate of 60-65 sq. ft. per gallon. The finished job must present a uniform thickness, free from voids or holes in the coating. MULSEAL is water-based and non-toxic. MULSEAL contains no flammable solvents and does not present a fire hazard like cut-back asphalts. DELRINO INSULATION CO.
