APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial buildiqg, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Complianee from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
~6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
· For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

MINIBARN ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut and square 2 pressure treated bottom ribbon
boards to 12'-0" or 16'-0".
2. Cut and square 2 top ribbon boards to 12'-0"
3 Nail the bottom ribbon boa,:d to one standard frame
using 16d nails. See illustralion A for location.
4. Nail the bottom ribbon boards to the balance of
the standard frames.
5, Nall the top nbbon boards, to Ihs slandard frames
as shown on fllustralion A,
6. Cut and nail in place 5/8" floor sheathing, using
~ 8d nails, as shown on illustration B (Deluxe
Package Only)
7, Cut side wall sheathing and nail in place using 8d
siding nails. See illustralion C for cutting details.
8. Cul and square front and rear end wall framing,
Toe nail in place using 16d nails. See illustralions
D and E for details.
9, Cut and install roof sheathing using 8d nails,
See illuslration F for cutting detads.
10, Cut front and rear wall sheathing and nail in
place using 4d nails See illustrations G and H for
cutting instructions.
11. Assemble the door panels. Screw through the
backside of the door panel into tile lx4 door tnm
using the 1Y," screws provided See illustration
for instructions.
12. Cut and nail waferboard soffit in place using
8d siding nads.
13. Apply lx4 lrim 1o corners and rake using 8d
siding na~ls.
14 Apply lx4 trim around door opening using 8d
siding nails.
15, Install roofing as per manufacturers instructions
using l'/J' roof nails (Deluxe Package Only)
16, Install door panels using hinges, hasps, barrel
bolts and screws provided.
17. Paint and/or stain barn as desired With wood
siding you may use either a latex or oil based paint
or stain. If you use a primed ~nner seal siding you
must use a latex paint
