The Station C Port of Egypt
The fishing station at Port of Egypt has served generations of fishermen and women with hundreds of
rental boats per day heading out to fish Southold Bay.

Within these historic walls we hope to reinvigorate this as a hub for Port of Egypt Marine Customers and
the working waterfront of Southold.
Continued use as a clubhouse for Port of Egypt marina and pool customers.
Marine education and training including boater's safety, captain's licensing, scuba training, etc
Infrastructure for oyster farming including:
• Cooperative cold-storage space in conjunction with NYS Grown&Certified Food Safety program.
• Ice production for packing-out boats for cost savings to farmers as well as improved food safety controls.
Weekdays the space will be available as a Co-Working space for local entrepreneurs with workshops
and mentoring. (Current focus on aquaculture and food related industries. Others are still encouraged to
apply.)
Programmable space for talks and presentations, etc.
