Updated 8!712018 Nature of Event Long Island Farm Bureau,the voice of the agricultural industry on Long Island,is hosting a fundraising event to raise funds to continue its mission to protect and serve farmers in Suffolk County. The Rodney Anderson Memorial Cornhole Tournament will be a one-day elimination tournament with a maximum of 50 two person teams. With the winning team resulting after the final match of the evening. The event will be held at Borghese Vineyard, 17150 Route 48, Cutchogue and will be from 6-9pm on August 1, 2023. Setup will begin one hour before and cleanup will be for one hour after the event. All amenities will be contained on site and no road closures or tents or Town services are requested.Parking will also be contained on site. Total attendance is expected to be approximately 150 people. Team registration fees will be collected and individual tickets will be available for spectators with food included. Dinner will be buffet style and will be catered by Ammirati's in Mattituck. Long Island Farm Bureau staff and volunteers will be on hand to set up and break down the event. Funds raised will be to benefit the work of Long Island Farm Bureau and enhance our young farmer program which Rodney reinvigorated and believed in,his passion for helping new and emerging farmers with training,education, and leadership enhancement. Rodney was a long time Riverhead farmer who tragically passed away in 2022 after a lengthy illness. The Rodney Anderson Memorial Cornhole Tournament will be a one-day elimination tournament with a maximum of 50 two person teams. With the winning team resulting after the final match of the evening. The event will be held at Borghese Vineyard, 17150 Route 48, Cutchogue and will be from 6-9pm on August 1, 2023. Setup will begin one hour before and cleanup will be for one hour after the event.
