I was alarmed to be advised that the Permit had lapsed. I was told that I needed to address a letter to your department to request that it be extended for an additional six months. Would you please do so, and notify me when the renewed permit will expire? I have been unable to persuade my general contractor to complete his work; I believe at this point I need to take control of the project and complete it myself. Could you please advise what I need to do to obtain a final CofO? I am concerned that your last recorded inspection (read to me on Friday by your staff) indicates a lack of firestopping. My contractor told me this problem had been solved and all that remained was a final inspection. What is true? How best should I proceed? I was also told by your department that a Mr. Richert in Mattituck is responsible for approving the electrical work. There was no evidence of the electrical subcontractor's application in the files at your office. What is the relationship of his approval to the COfb and any other final approvals necessary? The electrical subcontractor is unwilling to complete his work but. I believe that the house is currently electrically code compliant even though the scope of work is incomplete. Is an inspection by Mr. Richert necessary? What should I do to see that the house complies with all relevant codes? Sincerely, J. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant. It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or other alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction which may result from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and your project (i.e. a 15' to 201 wide construction area) or erecting a temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
