WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held on Septem- ber 7, 1994, at which time ali comments were received and testimony recorded; WHEREAS, Boe~rd Members have viewed the area and are familiar with the premises fLU question, its present zoning and the surroundiug areas; and WHEREAS, the Board made the following Findings of Fact: 1. This application is for a variance from requirements of the zoning code limitation at twenty the total lot area. the lot coverage (20%) percent of 2. Accordingly, on motion by Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Member Dinizio, it was RESOLVED, to GRANT the variance requested, as described above, with the understanding that future proposal to expand any build{ag will require a variance as to the lot coverage requirements, and provided further th,at the existing garage shall be relocated pursuant to a building permit to a conforu~ing location (as agreed by applicant at hearing). I thought being I was replacing the prior one, and it was just an open air structure and not an enclosed attached structure to the house, a permit was not required. As for the shed, this is something that can be purchased just about anywhere. I thought a permit was necessary only for something that was going to enhance the enclosed house structure as was the case three years ago when I applied for the permit. I tried calling you Friday but you were out of the office and not expected back until today. The women who answered the phone answered my questions and sent me the necessary papers. Being a newly transplanted City resident and no longer just a summer transient, I am ignorant to the town regulations. I sincerely apologize for my ignorance as it was not nor is it my imention to go against the town rules.
