As per the original permit application dated Oct. 2, 1997 the intended use of this building will be for storage and office space to serve our existing wholesale greenhouse business located on adjioning lot # 1. The Greenhouse will be used for growing plant material. This has not changed from the original application. There are however, two deviations from the original plans as'applied for: 1.) The second floor which is detailed on the drawings as unheated attic space, will be heated attic space. This will be used for storage of dormant tropical bulbs and root stocks such as; Colocasia, Canna, Alocasia and Xanthosoma, as well as many others. (We would be happy to supply you with our catalogue which details all this plant material). This dormant plant stock must be kept dry and not be allowed to freeze. 2.) We have added a bathroom on the first floor for employee use. We acknowledge that this requires Suffolk.-County Department of Health permits which were applied for on Dec. 19, 1997 (see attached reciepts) It is our intention to ammend the building permit with SCDHS certi- fication as soon as available. The septic system and plumbing has been designed by Mr. Joseph Fischetti and site located by Peconic Surveyors. We expect SCDHS approval by the end of January at which time an ammendment to this permit will be submitted for your approval. We sincerely hope that this letter clarifies all information which you requested. Please accept our apologies in regard to any confusion that this may have caused.
