A meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was
held at the call of the Chairman at 11:45 A~M_ Monday,
July 18,. 1960 at the Town. Clerk Office, Main Road~. Southold~._
New York.
There were present: Messrs, Robert Wo Gillispie~ Jr.,
Chairman,~ Herbert Rosenberg, and Charles Grigonis,. Jr .
Absent: Mr. Serge Doyens Jr., andMr. Robert Bergen.
Also present= Mr. Howard Terry, BuiAding Inspector.
The Board received the appeal of James Mulvihilla D.B.A~
Camp Momoweta~ Mattituck,: New York for a var/ance under
Article II~: Section 202. After reviewing this application
it was found't o be incompletes, and further this would be
considered an expansion of a non~conforming use and should
be filed as a special exception. A letter was forwarded to
Mr. Mulvihill advising him of these facts.

On motion of Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, and
carried~ the Board of Appeals set 7~30 P.M.s. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday,
July 28, 1960, Town Clerk Office,.. Main Road~ Southold, New York
as time and place for hearing upon application of Walter Kessler,
P/ke Street~ Mattituck, New York,. for recognition of access in
accordance with State of New York Town Law Section 28~A. Location
of property: private road knownas Maple Avenue off the east side
Grand Avenue, Mattituck,~ New York,. bounded north by Maple Avenue,.
east by land now or formerly of Francis M. White~. sout/lbyLong
Creek, and west by land now or formerly of John Muttit~.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg,
and Mr. Grigoniso
Resolution was offered by Mr. Grigonis,~ seconded by Mr,
Rosenberg, and carried~ setting 8:00 P.M. (E.D.~T,)~ Thursday,
July 28, 1960~ Town Clerk Office,. Main Road, Southold~ New York
as time and place for hearing upon application of Bridie& Stephen
Hornick, 119 Holiday Boulevard{ Center Moriches~ New York, for a
variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article
Section 300~ Subsection 1, for permission to use property as a
two family dwelling. Location of property: north side Skippers
Lane~ Orient, New York, bounded north by Allen A. Micle, east by
Phoebe Way, south by Skippers Lane,~ and west by PJaoda S. Asch.
Vote of the Board:
and Mr. Grignls.
Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg,.
It was further RESOLVED that legal notice of hearing be
published in the official newspaper under date of July 21, 1960.

Ayes:~ Mr. Gillispie, Mr. Rosenberg,
Mr. Gillispie advised he had received a call from .Mrs. Asch
and Mrs. Harrington who live on ~ Skippers Lane,. Orient, adjoining
theproperty purchased by Mro stephen Hornick, They have been
advised there will be a public hearing at 8~ 00 P.M., July 28th.
The minutes of the meeting of June 27, 1960,. on motion of
Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Grigonis~ and carried, were
approved as submitted.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie~ Mr. Rosenberg
and Mr. Grigonis.
