Please process as an amendment to the existing permit. Our efforts, on behalf of the Soper family have been largely esthetic, refining the proportions of the roof forms and fenestration. You will note the proposed addition cfa third floor "Belvedere" with access from the main stair hall. A Routine Variance Request for this space has been filed with NYDSD Codes Division (copy attached). I would like to point out that the overall height of the building, including the Belvedere has been reduced from the previously approved version. The main ridge of the house has been lowered approximately 4'- 6" (see drawing H2 on A201). Your assistance in processing this modification is appreciated.
