inspection by Code Enforcement Official is required. If the owner chooses not to have said
inspection performed by the Town, a certification from a licensed architect, a licensed
professional engineer or a home inspector who has a valid New York State Uniform Fire
Prevention Building Code Certification is required stating that the property which is the subject
of the rental permit application is in compliance with all of the provisions of the code of the
Town of Southold,the laws and sanitary and housing regulations of the County of Suffolk and
by the laws adopted by the New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council.

Suffolk and State of New York,being known and designated as Lot 4 on a certain Map
known as"Plan of Lots owned by George H. Wells,situated at Southold,Suffolk County,
New York,dated November 10, 1927,Otto W.Van Tuyl,Professional Engineer and
Land Surveyor,Greenport,N.Y.",which said Map was filed in the Suffolk County
Clerk's Office on November 28, 1927 as Map Number 859,said-lot being bounded and
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Wells Avenue,distant 280.00 feet
easterly from the corner formed by the intersection of the easterly side of Oaklawn
Avenue with the southerly side of Wells Avenue;
THENCE along the southerly side of Wells Avenue,North 73 degrees 20 minutes 00
seconds East 100.00 feet to the division line of Lot 4 and Lot 5 on the above-mentioned
Map;

THENCE along the mean high water line of Jockey Creek, South 77 degrees 01 minutes
