You will note that the stamped and detailed changes are submitted by Peter Tokar,A.I.A. and not the original architect of record which is Architechnologies. The need for the change of Architect was required due to the fact that Architechnologies has not responded to requests to make amendments to the plan. Please be advised that Architechnologies submitted a bid to build this project, however was not awarded the contract. The changes to the plan were first requested by the owners some time ago. At that time the owners made numerous requests to the original architect to make the minor amendments to the drawings. The architect never responded and still has not responded to this date. One can only assume that some bitterness exists as a result of Architechnologies not being awarded the construction contract. As you can see,the lack of response on the part of the original architect has now created a situation where the project can not move forward,because we are unable to obtain inspections from your office without the required detailed drawings of the changes. Accordingly we were forced to hire Peter Tokar,A.I.A.,to inspect the project and produce detailed drawings of all changes from the original plan. Said detailed drawings are attached hereto and are submitted for your review and approval. In closing we respectfully request,that due to the mitigating circumstances explained herein,you accept these detailed drawings of all structural changes to the project and make same part of the case file for this project.
