Inspection—Insulation
On November 3, 2021, I inspected the insulation and caulking installed at the noted
location. The inspection covered the two bathroom alterations. The insulation was
installed in interior walls and the ceiling/roof. The inspection results are:
1 —Walls—Insulation provided by Delfino Insulation and was installed in existing walls.
Insulation provided rated as R-15. The insulation provided was done in compliance with
the applicable sections of the IRC,NYS and Southold Town Building Codes.
2—Ceiling/Roof—Insulation provided by Delfino Insulation and was installed in existing
ceiling and roof. Insulation provided rated as R-19 and R30. The insulation provided was
done in compliance with the applicable sections of the IRC,NYS and Southold Town
Building Codes.
Result- The insulation and caulking installation as stated in the letter dated August 19,
2021 from Delfino Insulation, signed by Fred Furnell is compliant with all applicable
codes and conforms with the design specifications. (Copy attached)
