APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
A. This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2.Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S_9 form).
3.Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used iu system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6.Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
pre-existing' land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets', building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy ts denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

As per the instruction of Schembri Builders, who is currently completing the
construction of my new home, I am informing the Building Department of the town of
Southold that I intend to complete a circular, blacktop and stone, circular driveway as
well as professionally landscape the grounds of my property, Both projects are currently
under way at this time and will be completed within the next week, The property is
located at ~f250 Brigantine Dr., Southold. My wife and I intend to move in as soon as the
C O is acquired and the closing is finalized.

I have been advised by Schrembri Builders, who is currently inthe final stages of
completing my new home at 250 Brigantine Dr., Southold, to inform you that t am aware
that the master bathroom counter top is under construff~on and will not be completed
before the final inspection. Ho~vever, I have been assured that it will be completed shortly
in an act of good faith. I realize this is an uncommon practice hot my mortgage
commitment date is fast approaching and ! must ask ,Schrembfi B~lders to expedite
matters.
