Minutes of April 24,2023 meeting
• Meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm by John Slattery
• Present were: Mike Regan, Chris North, Jack Slattery, Jim Abbott, Tom MacLeod
• Absent (unexcused) William Ryan
• Also attending: Kevin Foote (facilitator), Chief Flatley
• Minutes of March 27, 2023 meeting were approved
• Old Business
Chris North and Kevin Foote provided a verbal review of the 4/20/2023 Working
Group meeting. They discussed the spread sheet process that is being utilized by
the group to vet new Lexipol policies against the 18 "shalls"from the governor's
report. Chief Flatley added that he has not yet received a copy of the spread sheet
to work with.
The PAC agreed to revive the subject of utilizing temporary disability officers for
light duty at headquarters. Kevin Foote will attempt to arrange a Town
Attorney/PAC meeting to reopen this discussion
