According to the Code of the Town of Southold Article XIV, 100-141 and 100-144 a building permit is needed for construction of a deck addition to an existing dwelling. It is unlawful to occupy a dwelling until a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued. The final inspection has been made and application and payment for the Certificate of Occupancy was received 9/9/80. Please submit the Underwriters Certificate so that we may issued said Certificate.
