Dear Ed:
In connection with our conference on an "as built" building permit and C.O. for the Route 48
winery, enclosed is the building permit application and three copies of the plans for same.
If you will recall, the modifications to the existing barn were done in 1979 in conjunction with
ZBA approval (see copy enclosed) and our client's understanding with the Building Dept. that a
permit was not then necessary. The building does pre-date the more recent regulations
pertaining to wineries.
A copy of the survey is enclosed.
The three copies of plans that accompany the application show the storage areas, foyer,
lavatories, office and tax paid room. I cannot provide you with the original set of plans because
they contain the original signature of approval from the Regional Regulatory Administrator of
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, but if you wish to see the original I would be
happy to bring them to you.
I also enclose the NY Board of Fire Underwriters Certificate, which I had asked the owner to
obtain, and copies of the sign permits. The plumbing work was done in 1979.
Please let me know the application fee for the permit and I will have a check delivered to you.
Very trl~ly"yours,_ / /ri
