The garage conversion did not change any of the original garage structure. A sliding patio door was installed within the garage space. The walls were insulated and '/2" sheetrock was applied to all those walls which were exposed. The concrete floor has vinyl installed on the existing concrete. The electrical wiring was not changed. 2. The freestanding wood stove in the living room has the proper masonry structure on the walls and floor. The flue is metal-bestos above the ceiling and roof. All complies with applicable codes. I am attaching the original survey showing the garage constructed in 1975. Also attached is the Southold property card showing the conversion took place in 1987. A completed Building Permit application and a blank check for the permit are enclosed.
