Dear Mr. Orlando:
As per your request, I have inspected the above referenced roads. It would
appear from the Town Records on Laserfische that many of the above referenced roads
have already been dedicated to the Towns Highway Road system. If you would like an
accounting of these recordings please let me know.
With that said, all of the roads noted above have been maintained by the
Highway Department for many years. These roads are in relatively good condition and
therefore should be formally recorded and dedicated to the Town as Town Highway
infrastructure. If it is easier to rededicate some of these road sections along with any
other road segment that may not have been formally dedicated I would understand.
At this time, I would recommend acceptance of the above referenced roads.

Highways in the said Town of Southold by the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, liable to be assessed
for highway taxes in said Town, and a dedication and release from damage having been
executed, acknowledged and delivered by the owners of the land through which the proposed
highways are proposed to be laid out, and a copy of which is annexed hereto, and nothing having
been paid to any claim for such damages;

land thirty-three feet in width, through the land of the
said William J. Grattan, and varying from thirty-three feet
to sixty-six feet in width through the land of the said
John Tillinghast, as described on a map made by Messrs.
Halsey & Van Tuyl, surveyed January lb, 1914, and .July 11,
1914, and do hereby release said Town from all damages by
reason of the laying out and opening of said highway.

spurs at the western end thereof, one extending in a north-
westerly direction to the western termin4s of the discontin-
ued portion of Sound View Avenue, and the other extending
in a southwesterly direction across the lands of W. J.
Grattan and John Tillinghast to Light House Road; and
We do covenant with said Town that we have ac-
quired the control for highway purposes of so much of the
land of all other owners as lies within the boundaries of
said proposed new route; and
We do hereby jointly and severally release the

ly agree that within six months from the time when the said
