UPON READING AND FILING the dedication and release of CLIFFORD.
T. CASE, MARION T. CASE, his wife, CORINNE B. CASE, and RUTH B.
CASE, dated ~~ 1951, and duly acknowledged, d edi-
cating and releasing the necessary lands for certain proposed Town
Highways to be known as SHORT ROAD, BAY ROAD, MEADOW LANE, and CASE
ROAD.
RESOLVED, that consent be and the same hereby is given that
· the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, make an
order laying out t~e aforesaid Town Highways to consist of the lands
descriOed in the said dedication and release and to extend aa deli-
neated upon the map annexed to said application, all in accordance
with the provisions of Section ltl of the Highway Law of the State
of New Yorko

ORDER LAYING OUT HIGHWAYS
WITH ~E CONSENT OF
THE TOWN BOARD.
ORAL APPLICATION having been duly made to me the Town Superin-
tendent of Highways for the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New
York, for the laying out of certain Town Highways in the said Town
of Southold by CLIFFORD T. CASE and MARION T. CASE, his wife, and
CORINNE B. CASE, and RUTH B. CASE, liable to be assessed for highway
taxes in said Town, and the written consent of the Town Board of said
Town having been given as prescribed by law, and a dedication and
release from damages having been executed, acknowledged and delivered
by the owners of the lands through which the proposed highways are
proposed to be laid out, a copy of which is hereto annexed, and
nothing having been paid to any claimant for such damages,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, DO HEREBY DETERMINE AND
ORDER that the Town Highways shall be, and the same are hereby laid
ou-'~n said Town as follows, and are to be known as SHORT ROAD, BAY
ROAD, MEADOW LANE, and CASE ROAD:-
ALL those tracts or parcels of land, situate, lying and being
at CutchoEue, in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State
of New York, bounded and described as follows:
SHORT ROAD:
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of New Suffolk
Avenue, 226.53 feet easterly along said northerly line from its in-
tersection with the easterly line of Linden Avenue; and running
thence at right angles to said northerly line of New Suffolk Avenue,
N. 13o 01' 40" E., 438.89 feet to the southerly boundary of land now
~eas~d to .The North Fork_Country Club; thence S. 89° 42' 10" E..
~0o75 fegt, thence S. 13v 01' 40" W., 450.08 feet; thence N. 76° 58'
20" W., 49.5 feet to place of beginning; to be known as "Short Road."
SAY ROAD:
~ BEGINNING at a concrete monUment set on the northerly line of
New Suffolk Avenue, 625.53 feet easterly along said northerly line
Srom its intersection with the easterly line of Linden Avenue; and
unning thence at right angles to said northerly line of New Suffolk~
~venue, N. 13° 01' 40" E., 300.0 feet t o the southerly line of a pro~
osed highway to be known as "Case Road," hereinafter described;
Shence on the same course, 49.5 feet to the northerly line of said
Case Road"; thmuce on the same course 179.56 feet to the southerly
boundary line of land now leased to The North Fork Country Club;
ihence N. 89° 42' 10" W., 50.75 feet; thence B. 13° 01' 40" W.,

MEADOW LANE:
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of New Suffolk
Avenue, 1,075.53 feet easterly along said northerly line from its
intersection with the easterly line of Linden Avenue; and running
thence at right angles to said northerly line of New Suffolk Avenue~
N. 13° 01' 40" E., 300.0 feet to the southerly line of a proposed
highway to be known as "Case Road," hereinafter described; thence
on the same course 49.5~feet to the northerly line of said "Case
Road," thence on the same course 301.79 feet; thence N. 76° 51' 40"
E., 350.0 feet, more or less, to the ordinary high water mark of a
westerly arm of West Creek; thence 49.5 f. eet in a southerly direc-
tion along said ordinary high water mark, thence S. 76° 51' 40" W.,
315 feet, more or less; thence S. 13° 01' 40" W., 620.45 feet;
thence 49.5 feet to the place of beginning; to be known as "Meadow
Lane,"
CASE ROAD:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of the proposed high-
way to be known as "Bay Road," hereinabove described, 300.0 feet
northerly along said easterly line from a concrete monument set at
its intersection with the northerly line of New Suffolk Avenue;
running thence on a line parallel with said northerly line of New
Suffolk Avenue S. 76° 58' 20" E., 4~50.0 feet to the westerly line
of a proposed highw~a~ to b? ,k~nown as "Meadow Lane," hereinabove des-
cribed; thence N. 13 01'40' E., 49.5 feet, along said westerly
line of Meadow Lane; thence N. 76° 58' 20" W., ~50.0 feet to the
easterly line of Bay Road; thence S. 13° 01' 40" W., 49.5 feet to
the place of beginning; to be known as "Case Road."

WHEREAS, application nas been duly made to the Town Superinten.
dent of Highways of the Town of Soutnold, in the County of Suffolk
and State of New York, for the laying out of certain Town Highways,
to be known as

WHEREAS, CLIFFORD T. CASE and MARION T. CASE, his wife, and
CORINNE B. CASE, all of Cutchogue, Town of Soutnold, Suffolk County~
New York, and RUTH B. CASE, of 88-10 162nd Street, Jamaica 5, Queen~
County, New York, are'the owners of premises to be dedicated as
'hereinafter provided, and are the only persons, firms, or corporat-~
ions having any interest in the lands through which the highways are
proposed to be opened.
NOW, THEREFORE, the said CLIFFORD T. CASE, MARION T. CASE, hlsl
iwife, CORINNE B. CASE and RUTH B. CASE, each in consideration of the
tsum of ONE ($1.00) DOLLAR to him or her in hand paid, by HAROLD
IPRICE, Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Soutnold, the

And the said CLIFFORD T. CASE, MARION T. CASE, his wife, CORINNE
B. CASE ~nd RUTH B. CASE do hereby release said Town from all damages
by reason of the laying out of the said above described new highwayse
