APPLICATION TO LAY OUT
TOWN HIGHWAY
TO THE TOWN SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD,
IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK:
The undersigned, ROBERT H. PRESTON and LaGRANT R. CHAPMAN,
inhabitants of the Town of Southold, liable to be assessed for
highway taxes therein, hereby apply to you to lay out a highway
in said Town to be known as Robinson Road, described as follows:
All that certain plot, piece or parcel of land situate,
lying and being near the incorporated Village of Greenport,
in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of
New York, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Champlin
Place, 230.00 fe?t westerly along said southerly line from
Manhanset Avenue, from said point of beginning running
thence South 31 degrees 24 minutes 40 seconds East 259.69
feet to a monument; thence on a curve to the right having
a radius of 41.17 feet, a distance of 53.40 feet; thence
South 42 degrees 54 minutes lO seconds West 13.57 feet,
thence South 58 degrees 35 minutes 20 seconds West 256.90
feet; thence North 31 degrees 24 minutes 40 seconds West
300.00 feet to said southerly line of Champlin Place;
thence along said southerly line of Champlin Place North
58 degrees 35 minutes 20 seconds East 50.00 feet; thence
South 31 degrees 24 minutes 40 seconds East 250.00 feet;
thence North 58 degrees 35 minutes 20 seconds East 200.00
feet; thence North 31 degrees 24 minutes 40 seconds West
250.00 feet to said southerly.line of Champlin Place;
thence along said southerly line of Ohamplin Place Nor%h
58 degrees 35 minutes 20 seconds East 50.00 feet to the
point or place of beginning,
which proposed highway will pass through the lands of the under-
signed, ROBERT H. PRESTON and LaGRANT R. CHAPMAN, who consent to
the laying of said highway.
Hereto annexed and made a part hereof, is a certain map show-
lng the course of the said proposed highway.

WAY
UPON READING ~D FILING the application of Robert H. Preston
and LaGrant R. Ch~an, dated and acknowledged, ~rch 22, 1963,
and the dedicatio~,~and release of Robert H. Preston and LaGrant R.
Chapman, dated ~1~h 22, 196~, and duly acknowledged, dedicating
and releasing the ~ecessary lands for a proposed highway to extend
from the southerly line of Champlin Place, a Town highway, in a
southerly, westerly, and northerly direction to a point on the
southerly line of~$aid Champlin Place.
RESOLVED that,' in accordance with the provisions of Section
171 of the HighwaFLaw of the State of New York, consent be and
the same hereby is.given that the Town Superintendent of Highways
of the Town of So ..~ old make an order laying out the aforesaid
town highway, the ~aid town highway to consist of the lands des-
cribed in the said,dedication and release and to extend as
delineated upon t~ map thereto annexed, and it is further
RESOLVED, th~.the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to
forthwith cause sm~h release to be recorded in the Office of the
Clerk of the Count"icl Suffolk and, upon its return, to attach
it hereto.

Application having been duly made for the laying out of a
town highway in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
extending from the southerly line of Champlin Place, and a dedica-
tion and release from the owners of and other persons interested
in the lands through which the highway is proposed to be opened,
having been given;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby determine
and order that a town highway shall be, and the same is hereby lai¢
out in said Town as follows:
