(631) 765-1809 MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY, MARCH 1.6, 2023 A special meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday, March 16, 2023 commencing at 4:00 P.M. The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However, this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Kim Fuentes, Board Assistant Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Elizabeth Sakarellos, Sr. Office Assistant Eric Dantes, Member Julie McGivney, Asst. Town Attorney Patricia Acampora, Member Heather Lanza, Planning Director Rob Lehnert, Member Mara Cerezo, Planner 4:04 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). EXECUTIVE SESSION: 4:04 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson),rson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). 5:09 P.M. The Board discussed a request to amend decision Appeal#7723, Chris Stratakis, 800 Sound Drive, Greenport. D. The Board discussed a Deminimus Request from Appeal#7715, Harbes Family Trust, 715 Hallock Lane, Mattituck. DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: 5:35 P.M. Agenda items and commenced deliberations on the following applications. RESOLUTIONS: RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to authorize advertising of hearings for the Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session, and 10:00 A.M. for Work Session and Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted 5-0). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held March 2, 2023. Vote of the Board: Ayes. Member Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lennert. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to approve a Second One Year Extension to Fishers Island Fire District, located at Crescent Avenue, Fishers Island,NY. SCTM No. 1000-9-2-4.1. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to approve an Extension of Condition for Appeal No. 7606, Donya Kofer, located at 2500 Grand Avenue, Mattituck, SCTM No. 1000-107-2-16. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to DENY an Amendment to Decision for Appeal No. 7723, Chris Stratakis, 800 Sound Drive, Greenport, SCTM No. 1000-33-4-5.
