At a meetiug held by the Commissioner of Highways of the Town of Southold, in the
Couuty of Suffolk, on the ~ day of ~, i9o~e, for the purpose of
deliberating on the propriety of ~ ~ a highway at ~
in said Town, hereinafter described, ou the written application of ~~.~J
f~~[/if person$1iable to be assessed for highway labor in said Towu,
and the written consent of the Town Board of said Town, and releases from the owners of the
land through which the proposed highway is to be opened, having been obtained, the considera-
tion of any one claimant not exceeding Sxoo, and to all the claimants not exceeding $500, it is
ordered and determined that a highway shall be, and the same is hereby laid out in said Town,
of which a survey has been made and the description whereof is as follows: ~ ~

Southold, in said town , as follows: Beginning at the
Southerly end of Oak Lawn Avenue in the village of Southold,
and running thence in a general Southerly direction across
Jockey ~reek to Pine Neck and then t~[rOUgh ~the lands o~
G. Wells Phillips and Fannie Wood to the Pine Neck Road, said
highway to be of the width of three rods, which proposed
way will pass through the woodlands of G. Wells Phillips &-~
Fanny wood , whose consent is hereby given to the laying out
of said highway, and land of the Town of Southold lying under
water ,oontrolled by the Trustees of said Town ~ whose con-
sent has not yet been given.
