The inspection covered the As Built Playroom over existing Garage. At time of house construction and original CO from 1999 this space was an Attic. Items inspected included the framing, insulation, electric and the life & safety codes. Result— Based upon inspection of this house and to the best of my knowledge, belief and professional judgment, construction completed in 2000 complies with the applicable codes of the IRC, NYS and Southold Town Building Codes at the time they were constructed. Note the finished Playroom did not add any additional insulated space to the home. All insulation values noted on the plans met code at the time of construction and at time of original CO in 1999.
