DEDICATION AND RELEASE
OF LANDS ON CHANGE OF
LOCATION OF HIGHWAY
We, the undersigned, being owners of arrd ail persons interested in lands
to be taken or affected by the proposed change of location of a portion of the
town highway above mentioned, for a valuable consideration, do hereby con-
sent to the same and do hereby dedicate, release and convey to the Town of
Southold,..County of Suffolk and State of New York for highway purposes, the
following lands, to wit:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument set in the northly line of
Nassau Point Road at the southeasterly corner of Lot No. 179 as
shown and designated on a certain map entitled, "Nassau Point
Club Properties Amended Map A," filed in the Suffolk County
Clerk's Office as Map No. 156, and running thence the following
five courses and distances to the southerly line of Bay Avenue, to
wit:

(5) On a curve to the left having a radius of 339.43 feet, a
distance of 519. 65 feet to the southerly line of Bay Avenue; thence
along said southerly line of Bay Avenue North 87 degrees 01 minu-
tes 20 seconds East 237.78 feet; running thence the following five
courses and distances to said northerly line of Nassau Point Road,
to wit:
(1) On a curve to the right having a radius of 414.43 feet a
distance of 381.25 feet; thence
(2) South 5 degrees 15 minutes 30 seconds East, 600. 00
feet; thence
(3) South 2 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, 220. 00 feet;

to said northerly line of Nassau Point Road; thence along said
northerly line of Nassau Point Road on a tie line course of
South 42 degrees 54 minutes 10 seconds West, a distance of
133.53 feet to a concrete monument and the point or place of
beginning.
AND WE DO HEREBY RELEASE the said Town of Southold from all
damages by reason of the discontinuing of %he following pOrtion~df the 'said
existing town highway, to wit: That portion of the existing town highway
located east of the above described new location of said highway.
With the intent and purpose that the location of the said town highway shall
be changed from the existing location shown on the the annexed map to the new
location shown upon the said annexed map, which said map is entitled
"Proposed Alteration of a Portion of Nassau Point Road at East Cutchogue,
Town of SouthoId, New York," prepared by Van TuyI & Son, dated July 1, 1970.
AND WE DO HEREBY CERTIFY that this dedication, release and consent
are made voluntarily and without the payment to the undersigned of any sum
of money by the said Town of Southold.

TO THE TOWN SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE TOWN OF
SOUTHOLD, IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK:
The undersigned, inhabitants of said Town of Southold and persons liable
to be assessed for highway taxes therein, appty to you to alter a portion of
the highway known as Nassau Point Road leading from the southerly line of
Bay Avenue across Nassau Point Causeway to Nassau Point, in said Town so
that the said highway shall extend as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument set on the northerly line
of Nassau Point Road at the southeasterly corner of lot No. 179
as shown and designated on a certain map entitled, "Nassau Point

Town of Southokl, New York, "prepared by Van Tuyi & Son, dated July 1,
1970, showing the existing highway and its proposed new location.
The proposed alteration of the said town highway passes through the lands
of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District and the Nassau Point Causeway
Association, the Applicants herein.
