THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 28, 1997:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Southold wish to dedicate certain
roads in Orient, New York, to be known as "LAND'S END ROAD" and "LATHAM
LAND" and 100 ft. of L.I. Sound frontage, as shown on subdivision map
entitled, "Map of Land~s End at Orient", filed in the Suffolk County Clerk's
Office on May 3, 1973, as Map No. 5909; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Highway Superintendent has inspected the said
highways and has advised the town Board that said proposed highways comply
in all respects with the specifications for the dedication of highways in the
Town of $outhold; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 171 of the Highway Law of the State
of New York, consent be and the same is given to the Superintendent of
Highways to make an order laying out the aforesaid highway, to consist of
lands described in said application as shown on certain maps attached to said
application.

the first part, and

WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, pursuant to
Resolution Number 275-1995 adopted by the Suffolk County
Legislature on March 21, 1995 and, thereafter, approved by the
County Executive on April ~, 1995, il| consideration of ten
dollars and other valuable consideration paid by the party of the
second part; does hereby grant and release unto the party of the
second part, the heirs or successors and assigns of the party of
the second part forever,
ALL, that certain plot, piece or parcel of land with ally
buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate, lying
and being in the Town of Southold, County of suffolk and State
of New York, and acquired by Tax Deed on May 18, 1990, from
General L. Rains, the Deputy County Treasurer of Suffolk
County, New York, and recorded on Nay 25, 1990, il| Liber
1107~, Page 159 on 160, and otherwise known as and by Town of
Southold, "Map of Land's End at Orient Roads" Map No. 5909
Filed May 3, 1973 North x L.I. Sound, East x Land's End
Realty, South x Main Road, West x Land's End Realty; and
'iPROViDED, however, that the party of the second part will be
restricted in its use of the subject premises .and will use said
premises solely and exclusively for municipal highway purposes;
with.all right title and interest reverting to the party of the
first part in.the event that the party of the.second part, at
time, uses or attempts to use said subject .premises for other
than municipal highway purposes or attempts to sell, transfer or
otherwise dispose of said subject premises without said premises
being used thereafter for municipal highway purposes. This
:ovenant and restriction will run with the land and shall bind
the. heirs orsuccessors and assigns of tile party of the second
part,
TOGETHER with all right, title and il~terest, if any, of the
party of the first part of, in and to any streets and roads
abutting the above-described premises to the center lines
thereof;
TOGETHER with the appurtenances and all the estate and rights
of the party of the first part ill and to said premises;
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted nnto tile party
of the second part, the heirs or successors and assigns of tile
party of the second part forever.
SUBJECT to all covenants, restrictions and easements of
record, if any.
AND the party of the fi~s~ part, in compliance with Section 13
of the Lien Law, hereby covenants that the party of the first
part will receive the consideration for ~his conveyance and will
hold the right to receive such consideration as a trust fund. to
be applied first for the purpose of paying the cost of the
improvement and will apply the same first to the payment of the
cost of the improvement before using any part of the total of the
same for any other purpose.
THE WORD"PARTY" shall be construed as if it read "parties"
whenever the sense of this indenture so requires.
THIS Legislature, being the State Euvironmental Quality Review
Act (SEQRA) Lead Agency, hereby finds and determines that
adoption of this law is not all actiou within the meaniug of the
State Envirpnmental Quality Review Act and the regulattolls
adopted thereto. See 6 N.Y.C.R.R. Section 617.2(b)(2). The
Legislature further finds and determines that even if the
adoption of the local law is an action within tile meaning of
SEQRA, the adoption of the law is a Type II action constituting a
legislative decision in connection with routine or continuing
agency administration and management, not including new programs
or major reordering of priority. See 6 N.Y.C.R.R. Secttou
617.13(d)(15) and (21). As a Type II action, the Legislature has
no further responsibilities uuder SEQRA 6 N.Y.C.R.R. Sectiou
617.5(a)(1); ai~d be it further
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the party of the first part has duly

transferring title to the named owner, together with the Transfer
Gains Tax Affidavit and State Equalization form.
For your protection, we suggest that you record this instrument
immediately in order to give notice that you are the owner of
record· To record this deed, the Transfer Gains Tax Affidavit
and State Equalization form must be submitted together with the
deed to the County Clerk's Office.
Please note that the Transfer Gains Tax Affidavit must be signed,
before a notary public, by all individuals whose names appear on
the deed. In the case of a corporation or other legal entity,
this form must be signed, before a notary public, by an
individual who can legally bind the corporation or legal entity.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 7, 1995:
WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk wisheg to convey title to a parcel
comprising roads in the Lands End Subdivision in Orient, listed as SCTM#
1000-015-09-001.031; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Southold wishes to acquire said
parcel in order that the road could be improved and dedicated to the Town;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Town Board hereby authorizes' the purchase of title
to said parcel for the consideration of $1,505.11, payable to the County
of Suffolk; said agreement all in accordance with the approval of the Town
Attorney.
