DEDICATION AND RELEASE OF LANDS FOR TOWN HIGHWAYS ~.~In the Matter of the Laying Out of certain Town Highways in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York. WHEREAS, application has been duly made to the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, in Suffolk County, New York, for the laying out of certain town highways and a drainage area as shown on surveys attached hereto which are "Map of Eastern Shores at Greenport, Section III" filed in the office of the clerk of the county of Suffolk on September 27, 1965, as Ma~ ~4475; and "Ma9 of Eastern Shores, at Greenport, Section II" filed in the office of the clerk of the county of Suffolk on August 10, 1965, as Map ~4426. NOW THEREFORE, H.J.S. LAND & DEVELOPMENT CORP., a corporation organized under and existing by virtue of the Business Cor'~oration Law of the State of New York, the owner of the lands to be included within the said Town of Southold for highway and drainage purposes, does hereby dedicate, release and convey the lands as described as follows: ALL those certain roads located near Greenport, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, as shown on a certain map en- titled "Map of Eastern Shores at Greenport Section III" filed in the office of the clerk of the county of Suffolk on September 27, 1965, as Ma~ %4475; excepting therefrom that portion of Inlet Pond Road lying east of the northerly extension of the easterly line of Moore's Lane North and also excepting therefrom that portion of Homestead Way lying east of the easterl~ line of Moore's Lane North as shown on said map, and ALL those certain roads located near Green~ort, Town of Southold, county of Suffolk and state of New York, as shown on a certain mad entitled "Map of Eastern Shores at Greenport, Section II" filed in the office of the clerk of the county of Suffolk on August 10, 1965, as Map %4426, excepting however that portion of Inlet Pond Road which lies west of the westerly line of Westwood Lane as shown thereon and excepting therefrom that portion of, Westwood Lane which lies north of the northerly line of Inlet Pond Road as shown thereon. Including however for highway drainage purposes that parcel of land shown on said map as "J.M.S. Land & Develo~menl Corp. reserved for dedication to the Town of Southold" which said sarcel is bounded northerly by Lot 67 of said map, easterly by Westwood Lane, southerly by Homestead Way and westerly by land of Speeches; and including also that portion of Homestead Way, together with the turn around area at the westerly end thereof, extending westerly to land of Speeches from the westerly line of Westwood Lane as extended southerly as shown on said map. AND the said corporation by its Treasurer, Charles W. Morgan, certifies that the consideration paid to the undersigned for this dedication and conveyance is the following, to wit: To H.J.S. Land & Development Corp., a corporation organized under and existing by virtue of the Business Corporation Law of the State of New York, having its principal office at Middle Road, Greenport, New York, the sum of Ten Dollars, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. Y. 10007 ORDER LAYING OUT HIGHWAYS ON RELEASE FROM OWNER In the Matter of the Laying Out of Certain Town Highways in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York ORDER Application having been duly made for the laying out of town highways and a drainage area in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, as shown on surveys attached hereto which are "Map of Eastern Shores at Greenport, Section III" filed in the office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on September 27, 1965, as Map $4475, and "Map of Eastern Shores at Greenport, Section II", filed in the office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on August 10, 1965 as Map $4426, and a dedication and release from the owner of the lands through which the highways and drainage area are ~roposed to be opened having been given: NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, New York, do hereby de- termine and order that town highways and drainage area shall be, and the same are hereby laid out in said Town in accordance with the description set forth on the deed copy conveying said lands which is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Land & Development Corp., a corporation organized under and existing by virtue of the Business Corporation Law of the State of New York, having its principal office at Middle Road, Greenport, New York, Treasurer~ Charles W. TO THE TOWN SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK: The undersigned corporation by its Treasurer, Charles W. Morgan, residing at (no number) Jackson Street, New Suffolk, New York, which said corporation is liable to be assessed for highway taxes in the Town of Southold, hereby applies to you to lay out certain town highways and a drainage area as described on a convey- ance of said highways and drainage area, a copy of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. The said proposed highways will pass through the lands of H.J.S. Land and Development Corp., and the said proposed drainage area is located on land of H.J.S. Land and Development Corp., which said corporation does hereby consent to the laying out of said and to the development and use of the said drainage described highways area. Land & Development Corp. to Town of Southold Dear Sirs: The purpose of this letter is to bring to your attention the fact that there is additional construction now taking place which will greatly increase the town tax assessments on the roads in the above matter to a total materially in excess of that certified to you by letter of August 28, 1967 of Albert Martocchia, Chairman of Southold Town Board of Assessors. The additional construction and the estimated cost thereof is as follows: Construction being done by Custodio Brandi on Lot 102 on the eastern side of Moore's Lane North. Estimated cost $30,000.
