Written application having been made to me~ town superintendent
of highways for the ?own of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, by
Henry J. Smith and Anna B. Richmond liable to be assessed
highway taxes in said Town and the written consent of the Town Boar~
of said Town having been given as prescribed by law, and release from
damages having been executed by the owners of the land through which
the proposed highway ia to be laid out,copy of which is hereto
annexed, and nothing having been paid to any claimant for such
&~mages, it ia hereby
ORDERED end DETERMINED that the three highways shall be and
the same are hereby laid out in said Town as follows, and are
to be known as 1. ~ROVE ROAD, 2. Mill Creek Drive, and 3.Meadow Lane,
re 8pootively.
The easterly line of the proposed highway to be known as
"Grove Road" is described as follows: beginning at a point on
the southerly line of North Road 150. O feet easterly along said
southerly line from a concrete monument set at the-northwesterly
corner of land of Henry ~. Smith, and running thence at right
angles to said southerly line of North Road, $.
feet. The westerly line of said proposed highway to be known as
"Grove Road" is parallel to and 50.0 feet westerly from the above
described easterly line.
The exterior line of the proposed highway to be known as
'Mill Creek Drive" is described as follows: beginning at a
point on the easterly line of a proposed highway to be known as
"Grove Road~ 2~.0 feet southerly along said easterly line from
the southerly line of North Road, and running thence on a curve
to the left whose radius is 25 feet a distance of 39.2? feet;thence
at right angles to said easterly line of "Grove Road", N.57

highway to be known as "Mill Creek Drive# ie parallel to and ~O
feet from the~descri~ed exterior line,except at the
intersection of said interior line with "Grove Road" where the
road is cut back on a curve whose radius is 25 feet.
~ne southwesterly line of the proposed highway to
be known as "Meadow Lane# is described as follows: beginning at
a point on the southeasterly line of a proposed highway to be
known as ~Mill Creek Drive" 2~.O6 feet northeasterly along said
line from it's intersection with the easterly line of a proposed
highway to be known aa "Grove Roadm and running thence S. B2°O~'E.-
165 feet, more or less, to Ar~hamomoque Pond.
The northeasterly line of said proposed highway to be
known as ~Meadow Lane" is parallel to and $O feet northeasterly
the above described southwesterly line,
which proposed laying out will pass through lands of Henry J. Smith,
and Anna B. Richmond.

of Southold, having met at the office of the Supervisor,at Greenport,
in said Town, on the ~-~/~ day of April, 19~8, and considered
the application of Henry J. Smith and Anna B. Richmond, for the
laying out of new highways at Bouthold, Town of Southold, Suffolk
County, New York, to be known as 1. Grove Road, 2. Mill Creek Drive
and 3. Meadow Lane, re~ectively,~that such laying ou~ be made in
acco~ance wi~h the prayer of the within petition.

TO THE TOWN SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE TOWN OF $OUTHOID, IN THE
COUNTY OF SUFFOLK AND STATE OF NEW YORK.
The undersigned, liable to be assessed for highway taxes in the Town of
$outhold, hereby apply to you to lay out three highways at 8outhold, in the
Town of 8outhold, Suffolk County, New York, to be known as 1. Grove Road,
2. Mill Creek Crive, and 3- Meadow Lane, respectively, and described as follows:
The easterly line of the proposed highway to be know as "Grove Road" is
described as follows:- Beginning at a point on the southerly line of North
Road 150.O feet easterly alongsaid southerly line from a concrete monument
set at the northwesterly corner of land of Henry J. Smith, and running thence
at right angles to said southerly line of North Road, $.32°O~tE.820.O feet.
The westerly line of said proposed highway to be known as "Grove Road" is
parallel to and 50.0 feeb westerly from the above described easterly line.
The exterior line of the proposed highway to be known as "Mill 0reek

0reek Drive, 3. Meadow Lane, respectively, and will pass through the lands
of Henry J. Smi~h and Anna B. ~leluaond, only, do hereby ~4dioate and release
to the Town of Southold, all land heretofore owned by Henry J. ~mith and
Anna B. Richmond and included within the premises above described, and do
hereby release said Town from all damages by reason of the laying out of the
new highways.
