THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 28, 1997:
WHEREAS, the town Board of the Town of Southold wishes to dedicate a
certain road in Southold, New York, to be known as "GREAT POND WAY", on
a survey of property for the Community Development Agency of the Town of
Southold, dated November 22, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Highway Superintendent has inspected the said
highway and has advised the Town Board that said proposed highway complies
in all respects with the specifications for the dedication of highways in the
Town of Southold; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 171 of the Highway Law of the
State of New York, consent be and the same is given to the Superintendent of
Highways to make an order laying out the aforesaid highway, to consist of
lands described in said application as shown on certain maps attached to said
application.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON APRIL 23. 1991:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby accepts a deed from
the North Fork Housing Alliance, Inc. transferring the 50 ft. private road located
south of Soundview Avenue, Southold, in the five lot affordable housing proiect
subdivision, to the Town of Southold; said road is bounded and described as
follows: BEGINNING at a point on the southwesterly line of a 50 ft. Private Road,
said point and place of beginning being South 44 degrees 48 minutes 20 seconds East
a distance of 430.33 feet from a point formed by the intersection of the southeasterly
line of $oundview Avenue with the southwesterly line of said Private Road; running
thence along the southwesterly line of said Private Road South 44 degrees 48 minutes
20 seconds East~a distance of 100.00 feet to a point and the beginning of a curve to
the left having a radius of 25.00 feet, and connecting the southwesterly line of said
Private Road with the southeasterly line of Great Pond Way; thence along said curve
to the left in a westerly direction a distance of 39.27 feet to a point; thence South
45 degrees 11. minutes 40 seconds West along the southeasterly line of Gr~eat Pond
Way a distance of 253.77 feet to a point and the beginning Of a curve to the left
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence along said curve to the left a distance of 23.52
feet to a point and the beginning of a cul de sac; thence along said cul 'de sac

Dear Matt:
Enclosed please find Offer of Dedication to the Town for
Private Road located in Southold that we discussed and is now'owned
by the North Fork Housing Alliance. It is my understanding that
the Town Board is willing 'to accept this road into the highway
system and that the Highway Department will maintain it in the
future.
Also, in October, we sent to you a Right-of-Way Agreement with
reference to another lot granted by the Town to the Alliance.
Please let us know the status of that Right-of-Way Agreement.-
If you have any questions about these matters, please give me
a call.
