~EREAS, application ~ has been duly made to the Town
Superintendant of Highways of the Town of Southold, in the County
of Suffolk and State of New York, for the laying out of certain
town highways to be known as "FIDDLER L~d~E", "MEADOW LANE" and
"ANGLER~ S ROAD" and
~FREAS, SAMUEL LEVINE of Greenport, New York and EDNA A.
BROWN, of East Marion, New York, are the owners of the premises
to be dedicated as hereinafter provided and are all of the persons
having any interest in said rights of way and said proposed
highways,
NOW, THEREFOR, We, SAMUEL LEVINE and EDNA A. BROWN, in
consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) dollar, to each of us in
hand paid, by HAROLD PRICE, Town Superintendent of Highways of
the Town of Southold, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
and in further consideration of the laying out of new highways
near Greenport, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
to be known as .FIDDLER LANE," 'MEADOW LANE'. and ~ANGLER~ S ROAD"
do hereby dedicate, release and convey to the said Town of
Southold, for highway purposes, the following land, to wit:-
All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in
the To~ of Southold, near the village of Greenport, Suffolk
County, New York, lying between the lines hereinafter des-
cribed ant ~ich are sho~ on the map of Otto ~'~. Vau Tuyl,
hereto annexed as "Fiddler Lane", "Meadow Lane. and "Angler~ s
Road, as follows:
The westerly linde of the proposed highway to be known
as .Fiddler Lane", begins at a point on the northerly
line of ]ganhanset Argue, about forty (40) feet westerly
along said northerly line from the poLut ~here it is
intersected by the direct extension northerly of the
westerly line of Beach Road; and runs a~ong land of
Lev~ne and Brown~ three courses, as follows: (1) N. 2_l deg.
2~t i0" E. 102.11 feet; thence (2) N. § deg. 09t iOn W.-
442.57 feet; thence (3) N. 21 deg. 32t 40" W.-85 feet,
more or less, to the center of a certain gutter and land
of Maybelle Raynor; thence easterly along said gutter and
said land of Maybelle Raynor, 100 feet, more or less;
thence along land of Levine and Brown, tw~ courses, as
follows:- (1) S. 15 deg. 18' 50" ~J.-70 feet, more or less;
thence (2)S!~Sdeg. 09t 10" E.-103.42 feet to the northerly
line of the proposed highway to be known as "Meadow Lane".
Said northerly line of "Meadow Lane,, runs thence along
land of Levine and Brown, S. 80 deg. 22t 50" E.-206.83 feet
to the westerly line of the proposed highway to be known as
"Anglerts Road". Said westerly line of ,Angler~ s Road"
runs thence along land of Levine & Brown, two courses as
follows: (1) N. 5 deg. 09' 10" W.-103.42 feet; thence (2)
N. 24 deg. 45~ 20" W.-70 feet, more or less, to the center
of said gutter and said land of Maybelle Raynor; thence
easterly along said gutter and along said land of Maybelle
Raynor, 100 feet, more or less; thence along land of Levine
and Brown, three courses, as follows: (1) S. 17 deg. 10t W.
63 feet, more or less; thence (2) S. 5 deg. 09' 10" E.-
523.77 feet; thence (3) S. 21 deg. 24' 10" N.-92.86 feet
to said northerly line of Manhanset Avenue; thence along
said northerly line of Manhanset Avenue, N. 68 deg. 35' 50"
W.-50.O feet to the westerly line of said ,'Angler, s Road".
S~id westerly line of "Anglert s Road" runs thence along land
of Levine & Brown two courses, as follows: (1) N. 21 deg.
24' 10" E.-81.06 feet; thence (2) N. 5 deg. 09' 10" W.
370.02 feet to the southerly line of said "Meadow Lone".
Said southerly line of "Meadow Lane" runs thence along
land of Levine & Brown, N. SO deg. 22' 50" W.-206.83
feet to the easterly line of said .Fiddler Lane". Said
easterly line of "Fiddler Lame" runs thence along land
of Levine and Brown, two courses, as follows: (1) $.
5 deg. 09' 10" E.-2S6.O9 feet; thence (2) S. 21 deg.
2%' 10" W. 11S.9I feet to sa~d northerly line of Manhamset
Avenue; thence along said northerly line of M~-hanset
Avenue, N. 68 deg. 35' 50" W.-50.O feet to the point of
beginning.
The above described highways are fifty (50) feet in
width, except at the northerly end of .Fiddler ~.ane. and
"Anglert s ~oad" where said proposed highways widen to
100 feet adjoining said land' of Maybelle ~aynor.
AND WE DO HEREBY RE~EASE said Town from all damages by reason
of the laying out of the said above described new highways.

hundred and fifty-five, before me personally came, SAMUEL LEVINE
and EDNA A. B~, to me known and known to me to be the same
individuals described in and who executed the foregoing instrument
and severally duly acknowledged to me that they executed the same.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that title of Samuel Levine and
Edna A. Brown, to the premises described in the foregoing deeds,
conveying Shree proposed roads to be ~nown as "FIDDLER LANE",
'MEADOW LANE" and ANGLFRt S ~OAD, is perfect in fee simple and
free from encumbrance and no other persons have any interest in
said real property except the persons named in the foregoing
release to the Town of Southold.

BOARD
UPON REAOING and FILING the dedication and release of
SAMUEL LEVINE and EDNA A. BROWN, dated May 6th 1955 and duly
acknowledged, dedicating ~nd releasing the necessary lands for
certain proposed town highwa~ to be known as "FIDDLER LAND",
"MEADOW LANE" and "ANGLEr'S ~OAD"~ be it
RESOLVED~ that consent be and the same hereby is given that
the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold~ make
an order laying out the aforesaid Town Highways to consist of
lands described in the said dedication and release and to extend
as delineated upon the map annexed to said application~ all in
accordance with the provisions of Section 171 of the Highway Law
®f the State of New York.
