Box 190 Peconic ~ 11958 Re: HEYDONALLEN SCTM ~97-6-3 Dear Ms. Wilson, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its Regular M~eting held on May 28, 1998,. regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, HEYDON ALLEN, applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the previsions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April 20, 1998 and~ WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and reco~mlendations~ and ~HEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on May 28, 1998, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS~ the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Cod~ WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE RESOLVED, that the Boa~ ......... ~aDDroves the application of HEYDON ALLEN to demolish an existing 14' X 13' section of garage and construct a new addition onto the existing garage. Located: 320 Eugene's Road, Cutchogue~ BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. The existing structure is (as you can see) 32.1' from the edge of the tidal wetlands. We would lika to demolish and remove that section of the existing garage and build our new garage as far along the foundation footprint as we can to keep it the maximum possible distance from the wetlands.
