tie into corner of adjacent retaining wall to the east.
Construct a 20' angled westerly return and armor return
with 300 lb. stone armor on filter cloth.
Construct a 4' x 85' stairway with platforms, 4' x 4'
platform and 4' X 10' steps for beach access.
Backfill with 200 cubic yards olean sand to be trucked in
from upland source. Access via Bailie Beach Rd.

The following action w~s taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on Wednesday, May .28, 1997
regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Eh-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of C~IRIS~OP~F~ ~
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of So~thctd.
application dated April 14, 1997. and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southotd Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their fir~iings and
recommendations, a~d
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect te said application on May 28. 1997, at which time all.
interested persons were given an opportunity tc be heard. ~nd,
WHEREAS, the Board members hav~ personalll~ viewed and ar~
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS. the Board has co~sider~d all the testimony and
documentatio~ s~hmitted concer~g th~ application, an~.
%~/EREAS. the structure complies with the standard set foL-th in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS. the Board has determined that tha project as prol~os~d
will not affect the health, saEety and g~Heral welfar~ of t~
people of the town.
NOW TPLEREFO~ BE IT.
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetlan~ Permit to
construct a 70+/- 1.f. of retaining wall approx. 10' from toe of
bluff. Retaining wall will tie into corner of adjacent retaining
wall to the east. Construct a 20' angled westerly return and
armor return with 300 1.b. stone armor on filter cloth.
Construct a 4' X 85' stairwa~ with platforms, 4' X 4' platform
and a 4' X 10' steps for beach access. Backfill with 200 c.y. of
clean sand to be trucked in from upland sottrce as ~r plans
dated Ma~ch 8, 1997. And replant bluff.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE~ that t~s determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct project will eXpire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applica]ale, and pe~t
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.
FEES: None.
