Southold, in the County of Suffolk and State of New York:
WE, the u~ersigned petitioners, E. WILSON TUTHILL
and BELLE C. TUTHILL, both residing at Cutchogue, Suffolk
County, New York, liable to be assessed for highway taxes
in the Town of Southold, hereby apply to the Town Super-
intendent of Highways to lay out new highways at Little
Neck, East Cutchogue, in the Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk and State of New York, to be known as Beebe Drive,
Emery Road, Wilson Road and Wilson Landing, and more fully
described in Schedule "A" hereto annexed.
A Map of said proposed highways has been made by Otto
W. Van Tuyl & Son, Licensed Land Surveyors, Greenport, New
York and is annexed hereto and made part of this application.
Annexed hereto and made a part of this application is
a release and dedication to the Town of Southold by the
petitioners herein, over whose property said highways are
to run.

WE, E. WILSON!i~TUTHILL and BELLE C. TUTHILL, being the
owners of certain land at Little Neck, East Cutchogue, in
the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New
York, over which lands certain proposed highways known as
Beebe Drive, Emory Road, Wilson Road and Wilson Landing
and described in the application in the above entitled mat-
ter, dated Ju~ ll, , 1960, will pass,
Now, iu consideration of One ($1.00) Dollar to us in
hand paid by Harold D. Price, Superlutendent of the Highways
of said Southold Town, and in further consideration of the
laying out of the new highways, known as Beebe Drive, Emory
Road, Wilson Road and Wilson Landing, do hereby release and
dedicate to the Town of Southold, all the land heretofore
owned by us and through which said proposed highways will
pass, and more fully described in Schedule "A" hereto
annexed.
And we do release the said Town of Southold from all
damages by reason of the laying out of said highways.

Written application having been duly made to me , the
Town Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Southold,
Suffolk County, New York, for the laying out of four Town
Highways in the said Town of Southold, by E. Wilson Tuthill
and Belle C. Tuthill, liable to ba assessed for highway taxes
in said Town, and the written consent of the Town Board of
said Town having been given as prescribed by law, and a
dedication and release from damages having been executed, acknow-
ledged and delivered by the owners of the lands through
which the four proposed highways are proposed to be laid
out, a copy of which is hereto annexed, and noth~n~aving
been paid to any claimant for such damages,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of
the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, DO HEREBY
DETERMINE AND ORDER that four town highways shall,be, and the
same are hereby laid out at Little Neck, in East Cutchogue,
each of which shall be fifty feet iu width, as set forth in
the Schedule "A" hereto annexed.

Re: E. Wilson Tuthill to Town of Southold
Dear Mr. Supervisor:
My client, E. Wilson Tuthill owns a small parcel of meadow
land off Beebe Drive and bordering on Eugene's Creek. This is shown
on the enclosed xerox of part of the subdivision known as "Sunny Shores"
which was formed by Mr. Tuthill some years ago and the site is entitled
"proposed basin". Mr. Tuthill has made no agreements either in his
Covenants and Restrictions or otherwise giving any lot owner any rights
in this parcel.
Mr. Tuthill would like to turn this parcel over the Town of
Southold. The extension of' Emory Road West of Beebe Drive was made
for the purpose of drainage from the Town parcel opposite, and drainage
probably runs over the meadow in question.
I am also enclosing a xerox from the Suffolk County Tax Map
showing this parcel. This would indicate that it is owned by the Town
of Southold, but that is in error.
I would appreciate it very much if you would take this matter
up with the Board and let me know if it would be interested in accepting
a deed to the parcel.
