Dear Ms. Dolson:
The flooding problem occurring on your property is being caused by a combination of road
runoffand tidal conditions. The house being constructed north of your property has intensified
this flooding since most of the road runoffwas previously contained within a low area where the
house now sits.
To alleviate this flooding problem, fill material would have m be added to your backyard area-
The mount and extent of fib material must be determined by a surveyor 9r environmental
consultant.
Since yod currently have a lawn within this area, a new lawn could be r~established once the fill
material is in place. A non tuff buffer should be left along the edge of the wetland to intetcepl
runoff.
Sincerely,
Allan S, Connell
District Conservationist
