WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of VICTOR & ELLA BECK to construct a 3' X 10' platform, a 3' X 12' ramp and. a 5' X 20' float as per drawing submitted. Please take further notice that this declaration should not be considered a determination made for any other department or agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. TYPE .OF ACTION: Type: II DESCRIPTION OF ACTION: Applicant requests permit to construct a 3' X 10' platform, a 3 ' X 12' ramp and a 5' X 20' float as per drawing. LOCATION: SCTM #1000-87-3-59 REASONS SUPPORTING THIS DETERMINATION: 1. An on site inspection has been conducted by the Board of Trustees. 2. An environmental assessment, submitted by the applicant and reviewed and completed by the Board of Trustees, has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment are likely to occur should the project be implemented as planned. cc. CAC Meeting of July 19, 1995 No. 1278 The CAC TABLED the Wetland Application of GERALD RUPP 51-1-21 to construct 80 feet of timber bulkhead approximately 23 feet landward of the mean high water mark. One hundred (100) cubic yards of clean fill will utilized to backfill between the existing bluff and bulkhead. The CAC tabled the application because the property was not staked and was not accessible. Sound View Avenue, Southold No. 1279 The CAC TABLED the Wetland Application of WILLIAM TURNBULL 52-1-1 to construct 160 +/- I.f. of stone revetment against eroded bank and backfill with 85 +/- c.y. of clean sand to be trucked in from upland source. Construct a 4' x 30' stairway to connect to existing platform and stairs for pedestrian access over revetment. The northern most walk shall be 18" x 147' and be constructed 18" over grade of the marsh. The southern: most walk shall be 18" x 112' and be constructed 18" over the grade of the marsh.
