Box 477 Quogue, NY 11959-0477 Re: Joseph Casarona SCTM ~83-1-1 Dear Mr. Just: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on June 24, 1998 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, J.M.O. Consulting on behalf of JOSEPH CASARONA applied to the Southo!d Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 13, 1998, and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on June 24, 1998, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to construct 100'+/- of timber bulkhead with a 10' return on west end a~d tie into neighbor on east end, backfill approx. 30 c.y. of clean sand to be trucked in from an upland source and replant bluff as per Natural Resources Conservation Service (plan to be submitted to Trustees),and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
