Paterson New Jersey, liable to be assessed for Highways to lay out
new highways at Southol~, in the Town of Southotd, County of
Suffolk and State of New York as follows:
1. The highways known as AVENUE OF TREES, FOUR WINDS COURT,
WATER TERRACE, PAVILION COURT, LITTLE PECONIC BAY LANE, DETENTION
BASIN and PARCEL "B" PONDING A~EA, as shown and designated on
certain maps entitled "Map of Angel Shores", situate at Southold,
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, filed in the Office of
the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on August 23,1995 as Map No.
9729 ~ As more particularly described on attached Schedule "A"
Maps of said proposed highways have been made by Henderson &
Bodwell, Consulting Engineers, and are annexed hereto and made a
part of the application, together with a release and application to
the Town of Southold by the petitioner herein, over whose property

CONSENT
WE, the undersigned, being a majority of the Town Board of the
Tow~ of Southold, County of suffolk, State of New York, having duly
met at a regular meeting of the said Town Board on the day of
,1998 and having duly considered the application of
THEODORE LAOUDIS and ANGELA LAOUUDIS,dated the day of
1996, for the laying out of new highways at Southold, Town of
Southold, to be known as AVENUE OF TREES, FOUP~ WINDS COURT, WATER
TERRACE, PAVILION COURT, LITTLE PECONIC BAY LA~E, DETENTION BASIN,
and PARCEL "B" PONDING AREA as shown and designated on certain maps
entitled "Map of Angel Shores", situate at Southold, Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York, su~eyed by Henderson &
Eodwell, Consulting Engineers and filed in the office of the Clerk

We, Theodore Laoudis and Angela Laoudis, residing at 226 Getty
Avenue, Paterson, New Jersey, being the owners of certain land in
Southold, Town of Sonthold, Suffolk County, New York, and included
within which land are proposed highways known as AVENUE OF THE
TREES, FOUR WINDS COLrRT, WATER TERP~ACE, PAVILION COLrRT, LITTLE
PECONIC BAY LANE, "DETENTION BASIN", and PARCEL "B" PONDING AREA,,
described in the above entitled matter dated 1999;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of One ($1.00) Dollars to us
in hand paid by Raymond L. Jacobs, Superintendent of Highways of
said Town of Southold, and in further consideration of laying out
of the new highways known as AVENUE OF TREES, FOUR WINDS COURT,
WATER TERRACE, PAVILION COURT, LITTLE PECONIC BAY LANE, DETENTION
BASIN and PARCEL "B" PONDING AREA, do hereby release and dedicate
to the Town of Southold all the land heretofore owned by us within
said proposed highway as follows:
known as AVENUE OF TREES, FOUR WINDS COURT, WATER TERRACE,
PAVILION COURT, LITTLE PECONIC BAY LJ~NE, DETENTION BASIN and PARCEL
"B" PONDING AREAl as shown and designated on certain maps entitled

Suffolk County, New York, filed in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Southold, Suffolk

Southold, County of Suffolk, New York, surveyed by Henderson and
Bodwell, Consulting Engineers and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the
County of Suffolk on August 23, 1995 as Map No. 9729; and
WHEREAS the Southold Town Superintendent of Highways Raymond L.
Jacobs has inspected said highways and has advised the Town Board that
he determines and orders that said highways shall be laid out in the Town;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 171 of the Highway Law of the
State of New York, consent be and the same is given to the Superintendent
of Highways to make an order laying out the aforesaid highways, to consist
of lands described in said application as shown on certain maps attached to

FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be and she hereby is authorized

Enclosed please find the following documents with regard to the above referenced road
dedication:
1. Consent for the Town Board's signatures
2. Application signed and notarized by the applicants with attached Schedule "A" with the
description of roads and retention basins to be dedicated: Parcel "D", "E", "IF', and
3. An Abstract of Title for roads and drainage which includes all roads, drainage and open
space owaxed by the applicant.
4. Deeds in proper form for recording
5. Two full set of design plans for the Town Engineer and three survey prints.
Please note that the applicant has retained ownership of Parcel "A" (Open Space), Parcel
"B"(Open Space), and Parcel "C"(Open Space), Parcel "F"(Right-of-way to private beach), and
Parcel "G"(Private beach). The Open Space parcels "A", "B" and "C"which contain both
freshwater and tidal wetlands had been offered to the Town several years ago} however, the,
then sitting, Town Board did not wish to accept the Open Space. The applicant has advised me
that he is still willing to gift the Open Space ( Parcels "A", "B", and "C" ) to the Town. Please
advise me if the Town is interested in these wetlands.

WRITTEN application having been duly made to me, the Town
Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Southotd, Suffolk
County, New York, for the laying out of Town Highways in the said
Town of Southold by THEODORE LAOUDIS and ANGELA LAOUDIS, liable to
be assessed for Highway taxes in said Town, and a dedication and
release from damage have been executed, acknowledged and delivered
by the owners of the land through which the proposed highways are
proposed to be laid out, a copy of which is annexed hereto, and
nothing having been paid to any claim for such damages;
NOW THEREFORE, I, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, DO HEREBY DETERMINE AND

Southold, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and included
within which land are proposed highways known as AVENUE OF THE
TREES, FOUR WINDS COURT, WATER TERPJICE, PAVILION COURT, LITTLE
PEC0NIC BAY LANE, "DETENTION BASIN", and PARCEL "B" PONDING AREA,,
described in the above entitled matter dated 1999;

in hand paid by Raymond L. Jacobs, Superintendent of Highways of

1. CLOSING DATE: In order to facilitate the closing of title, please notify the closing department at least 48 hours prior to the
closing, of the date and place of closing, so that searches may be continued.

satisfaction of the Company.
3. POWER OF ATTORNEY: If any of the closing instruments are to be executed pursuant to a Power of Attorney, a copy of
such Power should be submitted to the Company prior to closing. THE IDENTITY OF THE PRINCIPAL EXECUTING
THE POWER AND THE CONTINUED EFFECTIVENESS OF THE POWER MUST BE ESTABLISHED TO THE

4. CLOSING INSTRUMENTS: If any of the closing instruments will be other than commonly used fmrns or contain unusual

Regulations of the Suffolk County Health Department.
