It would appear from the Town Records on Laserfische that many of the above referenced roads have already been dedicated to the Towns Highway Road system. If you would like an accounting of these recordings please let me know. With that said, all of the roads noted above have been maintained by the Highway Department for many years. These roads are in relatively good condition and therefore should be formally recorded and dedicated to the Town as Town Highway infrastructure. If it is easier to rededicate some of these road sections along with any other road segment that may not have been formally dedicated I would understand. Letter from Andre Maraillon, 375 Ackerly Pond Lane, Southold concerning the flooding condition on Lower Road, Southold. Highway Superintendent Dean has been asked to investigate the problem and report his findings to the Board. 4. Invitation to the Board members to attend a dedication ceremony at the Greenport Municipal Power Plant on June 18, 1979 at 3: 00 P.M. where the Village of Greenport has converted from their own generating system to the Power Authority of the State of New YOrk. 5. Letter from William Henkelman, Postmaster, Liberty, New York expressing his thanks to beach attendant Jack Lake who aided him in locating a repairman for his trailer which had become disabled. 6. Letter from the Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers relative the the shoaled condition of the channel at Mattituck Harbor. They advise they have -received permission from the environmental agencies allowing them to commence the project earlier than Sept- ember.---Councilman Drum stated the Corps of Engineers has been at the creek yesterday and today surveying. 7. Letter from William c. Richards, Legislator, 7th District, urging the Town of Southold to adopt a resolution to expedite the eligibility of senior citizens to receive the $8, 000 maximum income limit as introduced by him at the county legislature. ---Since the Town is in the process now of working on the revaluation program and would not want to act at this time on such a resolution. There are bills in the State Legisature . which will increase the reimburse- ment to the towns from $10. 00 at the present to $25. 00, $35. 00 and $50. 00 if passed. 8. Receipt of a draft for the Priority System Municipal Sewage Treatment Works as prepared by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, from Holamacher, McLendon and Murrell, p.C. Copies have been sent to High Superintendent Dean and Town Attorney Tasker. 9. Notification from the Long Island Lighting Company of rate increases for all street and highway lighting customers. The Public Service Commission approved a 3. 3% general increase to be effective May 4, 1979. The effect of the increase on LILCO° s full service street and highway lighting "Electric Service Classifica- tion No. 8" is estimated at about 3. 50 of the total charges for that ,service. There is no change in the No. 10 Classification. 10. Letter from the Suffolk county Department of Health Services transmitting Article 12, Toxic and Hazardous Materials Storage and Handling Control, from the Suffolk County Sanitary Code. This matter will be discussed at the next meeting of the Suffolk County Board of Health to be held at 1: 00 P.M. , Thursday, June 21, 1979 in the Legislature Auditorium, Executive/Legislature Building, County Center, -,Hauppauge.----A representative of the Town will attend the meeting.
