Krupski, President Re: Property owned by: Mr. Michael Raynor Property- location: Old Harbor Road New Suffolk, New York Dear Mr. Krupski: On Monday, August 26, 1996, the above referenced property was inspected by myself at the request of the owner Mr. Michael Raynor. The purpose of said inspection was to determine the necessary work required to stabilize the existing embankment based on his intended use. The property is currently zoned M-2 and Residential. The intended use is also mixed consisting of Mar/ne Service and a Single Family Residence. The following information is provided for the Board of Trustees review to support the need for a bulkhead at this location: Due to the property geometry, the intended structure would be pressed toward the embankment leaving limited clearance for marine service equipment. · Equipment used for marine service must be able to access marine craft from the embankment to remove and install components, · Equipment used for marine service must be able to move in areas between the structure and the shoreline without compromising the embankment. · Marine service personnel must be granted safe access to the marine craft. Based on the above it is my considered professional opinion that the most effective means of providing protection to the property, structural support from equipment loading and for safe access required for the permitted use, would be to bulkhead the embankment, Thank you for your time and cooperation on tiffs matter. If there are any questions relative to the above please do not hesitate to call. ,~ ertH. Wh an, .E. cc: Mr. Michael Raynor Albert J.
