Dear Ms. Mesiano:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on April 22, 1998 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, Catherine Mesiano on behalf of RUSSELL & ROBERT MC
CALL applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under
the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated February 26, 1998, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on April 22, 1998, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to
to construct 1750 sq.ft, single family residence with full
basement and attached 2 car garage. A 50' no-clearing,
no-disturbance buffer must be maintained from the wetland line
landward and a new survey showing exact location of house and no
50' line of no clearing, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
The following action taken at a meeting of the Southo~d Town Conservation
Advisory Council held Monday, March 23, 1998:

Moved by Mary Griffin, seconded by Sharon Shine~ it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the Wetland Permit Application of RUSSELL and ROBERT McCALL 116-1-6
to construct 1750 s.f. single family residence with full basement, attached
2-car garage, water supply and sewage disposal system. The CAC recommends
approval provided the usual runoff containment standards are followed
(haybales, etc.).
