To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to give concent to the Southold Town Trustees for a site visit at the Schroeder
residence located at 3325 Wickham Drive, Mattituck NY. The issue needing the Trustees attention is
the erosion occurring on the North West corner of the waterfront on the property. I have enclosed
pictures of the erosion that seems to be stemming from an asphalt curb constructed from the above
street intersecting with the corner of an existing bulkhead. In addition the home owner (John
Schroeder) had installed a non-turf buffer during a swimming pool installation that is now in the
path of the erosion. He is concerned that if this situation is not mitigated that the newly installed
planting will be subject to damage.
We appreciate any insight that the Southold Town Trustees may be able to offer in this
matter.
