Box 2003 Bridgehampton NY' 11932 Re: CAROA CASSEL 56-5- VD Dear Mr. Anderson, The following action was taken by the Board o~ Town Trustees during its regular meeting hel~ on November 22, 1996, regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, ~iC~LkEL RAY~OR applied to the Seuthold Town Trustees ~or a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town o~ Southold, application dated Oct. 4, 1996, and, W~F~JZAS, said application was referred to the So~thold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their ~indings and recomendations, and WBEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on November 22, 1996, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed Md are familiar with the premises in question and. the surrou~d½ng area, and, WkutREAS, the Board has considered all the testimo~f and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHERE3~, the structure complies with the stand~rd set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code, WFIEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety/ and general welfare of the people of the to%hi, NOW THEREFOP~E BE IT, RESOLlrED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of CAROL CASSEL to construct a t0~ X 12~ deck attached to east side of catwalk as per revised survey dated and received 10/23/96. Willow Point Road, Southold The Council believes this project should go through the full application process to obtain a permit. (Note: If the Trustees do not agree with the CAC's recommendation requiring a permit, then the CAC feets the project should be cut in half and only one 12' x 12' platform be allowed.)
