After visiting the site and reviewing the file, the Southold Town Board of Trustees would like to see a relocation of the house on the parcel. ! realize that the property has a number of zoning and physical constraintsr however, we feel that rotating the house 90 degrees would greatly decrease the potential impact on the adjacent fresh water ecosystem. Southold, N.Y. 11971 Dear Mr. Krupski: As the agent for Mr. & Mrs. William Manos, I am applying for permission to encroach into the setback of marshland indicated on the enclosed survey. The existing conditions on this parcel make it impossible to construct a residence of approximately 3000 sq. ft. and still comply with all agency regulations and distances unless we are given permission to build the wing shown within the 75 ft. setback of the marsh. I am very much concerned about any environmental impacts and plan to retain the maximum vegetation on this property. I also intend to protect to the best of my ability the pond and marsh from any unecessary disruption. Thank you for your review and consideration in this matter.
