Dear Mr. & Mrs. Andrejack,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its Regular Meeting held on May 28, 1998, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, JOHN & JACQUELINE ANDREJACK, applied to the Southold
Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 8, 1998
and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on May 28, 1998, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard s~t forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
JOHN & JACQUELINE ANDREJACK to construct a 2 story single family
dwelling-with septic, driveway, and brick patio, with condition
that a 10' non-turf buffer at top of bank be maintained and a
row of haybales be placed before construction begins. Located:
1970 Ole Jule Lane, Mattituck.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or Similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and ~permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

Dear Board of Trustees:
I am writing with a concern relative to the proposed construction at the above referenced property.
The property directly across the street is deeded to this writer and is the residence of Mrs. Nancy
Jacobs.
The concern here'is the location of the wells: The Jacobs well is located on the comer of Krause Rd
& Ole lule Lane. said well being approximately 30 feet deep. The location of the well on the lacobs
property is the third location for water on this parcel, and therefore Mrs. Jacobs has a concern that
the proximity of the water systems will have a detrimental effect on her fresh water well. Her concern
mainly is that her well is currently placed in the last possible space on her parcel and any addition
strains placed on an already fi.agile aquifer will cause this well to fail.
Mrs. Jacobs is seeking assurance from the Board of Trustees that the placement of the fresh water
and septic systems on the Andrajack parcel wilt not have a negative effect on the existing her existing
wall.

The following recommendation was made at the meeting of the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council held May 21, 1998:

Moved by Bret Hedges, seconded by Melvyn Morris, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to' the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
WITH PROVISIONS of the Wetland Permit application of JOHN and
JACQUELINE ANDRE JACK 122-4-7 to construct a 2 story single family
dwelling with standard septic system and driveway, and brick patio within
building envelope.

The CAC recommends approval provided:
1. The hardwood trees outside the building envelope remain in place
(limbs may be cut back or removed for view)
2. Applicant adhere to the submitted plans, especially concerning
measurements and distances.
3. Runoff control measures, i.e. haybales, must be utilized during
construction.
