Request for Additional Information
Dear Mr. Just:
Thank you for your March 4, 1999 response to our February 25, 1998 request. However as stated in a telephone
conversation with your staff, pursuant to 15 CFR 930.58, the following data and information is necessary to enable the
Department of State to adequately assess the coastal zone effects of this proposed project:
Please provide evidence that clearly demonstrates the appropriate ownership interest, license(s), lease(s), or permission
allowing the applicant to install the ramp and float assembly as proposed; or please submit an alternative proposed ramp
and float assembly that would be located within an extension of the applicant's property lines.
Pursuant to 15 CFR 930.60(a), the review of your consistency certification will begin after we receive and determine that
the necessary data and information is adequate to assess coastal zone effects. Please provide the information requested
above to the Department of State as soon as possible. Any additional information which you believe will facilitate our
consistency review of this project would be appreciated.
Please tail me at (518) 473-7692 if you have any questions.

Request for Additional Information
Dear Mr. Just:
Pursuant to 15 CFR 930.58, the following data and information is necessary to enable the Department of State to
adequately assess the coastal zone effects of this proposed project:
The proposed ramp and float assembly is not entirely located within an extension of the applicant's property lines. The
assembly as proposed would interfere with the riparian rights of the owner of the adjacent property. Failure to properly
locate the proposed ramp and float would require its removal should that owner object. If permission is obtained from
the owner of that lot, the applicant would have the appropriate private permission to install the assembly. Therefore,
please provide evidence that clearly demonstrates the appropriate ownership interest, license(s), lease(s), or permission
allowing the applicant to install the ramp and float assembly as proposed; or please submit an alternative proposed ramp
and float assembly that would be located within an extension of the applicant's property lines.
it is unclear whether the proposed float would impact wetland by resting upon vegetated wetland at very low water. Please
st.te if the float would rest upon_the bottom at very low water and please state whether the area that would be under the
proposed float is vegetated.
Pursuant to 15 CFR 930.60(a),the review of your consistency certification will begin after we receive and determine that
the necessary data and information is adequate to assess coastal zone effects. Please provide the information requested
above to the Department of State within thirty days. Any additional information which you believe will facilitate our
consistency review of this project would be appreciated.
