Notice is hereby given that the permittee should recognize that a possibility exists that the structure permitted herein may be subject to wave wash from passing vessels. The issuance of this permit does not relieve the permittee from taking all proper steps to insure the integrity of the structure permitted herein and the safety of boats moored thereto from damage by wave wash and the permittee shall not hold the United States liable for any such damage. It should be noted that this permit does not relieve you of the obligation to obtain any State or local approvals for your work. If, for any reason, a change in your plans or construction methods is found necessary, please contact us immediately to discuss modification of your permit.
